Overnight brownie porridge
There are days when we just can’t stop craving some delicious chocolate cake. That's when a deliciously conscious, added sugar-free brownie oatmeal comes to the rescue!
Oatmeal is at its most exciting when it's made with multiple types of oatmeal, and when we can vary the proportions to our liking. This way, small flakes can make a creamy porridge, while larger ones can make one good to chew on!
This brownie oatmeal surprised even me when I tried it this morning. It was mighty chocolatey, which was only enhanced by the cocoa bean crumble. And the coconut milk gave it a nice thick consistency, so it really brought the brownie experience to the table.
And what’s best: it's so easy to make: just put all the ingredients in a jar or bowl with good locks, mix it up and wish it good night. In the morning, you'll be greeted by a real culinary experience!
Ingredients (for 2 persons):
- 60g Hester's Life Plain Oatmeal
- 60g Hester's Life 100% Rolled Oats
- 25g Hester's Life Ground Datee
- 10g high quality unsweetened cocoa powder
- 15g roasted cocoa bean groats
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 360 ml milk or vegetable drink
- 1 tablespoon thick coconut milk + 1 teaspoon for serving
