Sweet and piquant date balls
The miso paste makes these balls really special. If you like a special savoury-sweet flavour combination, you should definitely try it!
Date balls are usually dense and sweet. Now we've brought you a recipe where the salty flavour will play a role as well thanks to the miso.
Miso paste is a high-protein and mineral-rich ingredient made from fermented soybeans and is a must-have in Japanese cuisine. Its intensely salty and unique flavour makes these lovely little balls really indistinct, yet pleasant.
It's incredibly easy to make, you won't even need a shredder, just the ingredients and your own hands! You can let it sit in the fridge for days, if you will have any left at all, that is!
